An excerpt from the foreword written by Professor Jo-Anne Murray:

Val has invested a huge amount of time and effort into distilling the literature on biomechanics and training into a practical guide for horse riders. This book is an ideal read for the thinking rider who can refer to this book for clarification and inspiration. Also, Val’s vision for this book to be positive and inspiring with beautiful illustrations has definitely been achieved. I wholeheartedly applaud Val’s efforts to bring scientific knowledge to the equine community for the benefit of educating the rider and improving the welfare of the horse.
